MANDELBROT SET is a three-piece Celtic music band from Poland. In addition to a vast repertoire of traditional tunes & songs from the Celtic countries, they also incorporate music from around the world including the Balkans, the Carribbean and the U.S.A.
The band has already been performing in Poland, Germany, Holland and the Czech Republic, with its members attending numerous sessions and workshops all over Europe, including Ireland, Scotland and England. They also play for dancers and teach their instruments including banjo, pipes, Irish flute, whistle, Uilleann and Highland pipes, bodhran and guitar.
‘We like to play with the thought that with our music we participates in something unusual – ancient and, at the same time constantly rejuvenated, as traditional music seems to be.’
